It is next to impossible to find time to write on my blog these days. By the grace of God, both boys are sleeping right now so I thought I'd take a few minutes on the laptop. Andrew had a bath this morning and that seems to wipe him out for a while. All three boys in our house have colds. Brian's is pretty bad and the two kids have the hangover cough. It's sad to hear Andrew cough. He's not quite four weeks old and has had a cold for two of them.

Jackson, Andrew and I spent five days at my parents' house last week. Brian was finishing the basement and it was just easier to get out of the house. We had a great time and it was so nice for me to have someone cook and entertain Jackson. Thanks, Mom and Dad!!! Andrew was still having trouble sleeping at night so I just gave up and let him sleep on the bed next to me. Safely, of coarse. I propped him in between the boppy and he slept like, well, a baby. (Assuming said baby sleeps well at night.) Last night was our first night back to "normal" in his little bed out in the living room. He did quite well. He got up a few times, but he didn't cry when we put him down which is progress! Jackson woke up several times last night which he has never done. He was crying for me each time.

Our realtor came over last night to check out the house. The good news is that she thinks the house looks fantastic and is confident someone like us will want to buy it. The bad news is it looks like we might end up actually owing money on our house even after we buy it. We refinanced two years ago and the market was good when we did that. We are hoping we can sell the house for what we refinanced for. Totally depressing...you put in all that time and work and money to fix it up so you can make money on your house and then it doesn't pay off. We will really have to stay focused on being positive and trust that just the right person/people will want our house and will see it's value. The basement is finished and is gorgeous. It's sad that we won't be here to enjoy it.

Now we have to get busy doing to final touch-ups that our realtor suggested. Things like de-cluttering closets so it looks like we have all the room in the world for our things. We actually do have a lot of closet space...we just have too much stuff! She said to get rid of the t.v. in the bedroom. Damn! I like to have my Will and Grace in bed before I go to sleep every night. We also need to do some painting touch-ups. We hope to have the house on the market in the first week of March. Please say prayers that we sell it quickly and for the price we want.

My time is up. Stay warm today!
